FRS Radio Reviews
While you can't test each FRS
radio brand and model to see how they perform under typical conditions, our
reviews provide the results of our hands-on tests of the features you want and
need. We offer our opinions of which radios really deliver and which
ones offer only basic services. We test the 2-mile maximum ranges that
typically are advertised to see if their claims are true.

| Clarity |
Very good tone at all levels
of volume, and signal strengths |
| Features |
Nice vibrate feature for
discreet use, has an additional scramble feature for complete privacy when
used with another TR325.
The only annoying
feature which I found is that the VOX function causes the Audio level to
drop, in both the scale to adjust, ie the LCD gives only 3-4 steps vs 7-8
steps with speaker, which then drops the audible level in the headphone
[Panasonics own headset]. This makes it very difficult to hear even
thought the voice sensitivity [adjustable to 3 levels] works find. You
strain then to hear the other party. when using headset feature,
not enough volume on earpeace |
