FRS Radio Reviews
While you can't test each FRS
radio brand and model to see how they perform under typical conditions, our
reviews provide the results of our hands-on tests of the features you want and
need. We offer our opinions of which radios really deliver and which
ones offer only basic services. We test the ranges that
are advertised to see if their claims are true.

| Features |
This baby has it all, scan
main and sub-channels, FM radio, great volume range (if a tad on the
quiet side). Comes with headphones and belt clip with wrist
strap. When using headphones, even lowest volume is pretty dang
loud. Limited FM station reception (I can usually only get
1-2...in Chiagoland). |

Ease of use, and general feel |
Solid hand feel, antenna
almost doubles height, good weighting |
| Quality |
Yes. Survived at least 4
inadvertent "drop tests". I've been using this radio for about 3
years now without a hitch. |
| Overall Impressions |
This is a great FRS radio! Well worth
the price (if you can find them) |
